Over the last few years we have seen all sorts of work done by Garage Italia Customs’s Italians, some more successful, such as the  500 Star Wars , and other more questionable ones, such as the  500 Kar-masutra . This time comes one of his latest projects, called Fiat 500 C Missoni Edition and was made on the basis of the popular urban model of the Italian brand.
A unique vehicle, of which only one specimen was made that was recently auctioned. The Fiat 500 C Missoni Edition differs from a normal Fiat 500 C by its exterior, which has a decoration inspired by the works of the stylist Angela Missoni. The colorful design is combined with geometric shapes that make it clear that this is not a conventional Fiat 500 C.
The interior also received changes, with new upholstery matching the look of the exterior with materials assigned to the occasion by Missoni herself. Garage Italia Customs manufactured this vehicle with the aim of donating it to be auctioned to help a good cause.
The auction of the Fiat 500 C Missoni Edition was recently held in Milan, Italy, where the AIDS Research Foundation held a gala event where an anonymous bid paid no less than 50,000 euros for this Fiat 500. A sum that would seem absurd if the money were not fully earmarked for AIDS research.
